Fun pub with big outdoor area. Really nice food if you can get a table on a Sunday. Recommended.

All this bitching about the staff at Westbourne is laughable - it's not as if they're waiters is it ? Just buy your drinks and enjoy your time - surely you're not gonna let a primadonna ruin your evening ?Anyway, the Westbourne lost it a LONG time ago. You'd need to go back about 10 years to experience just how KICKIN' this place really was. Notting Hill the movie hadn't even been conceived yet and even though the area had started to sell out, there was a joyful absence of the media and banking toss-brigade you can't walk through the street without encountering. People were varied and not so keen to let everyone know how many buy-to-lets they had in their portfolio nor would they whinge about not having fireworks attached to the bottle of champagne they ordered at Movida last night . . . .

Could be a great bar...BUT unfortunately the bar staff are just not very good at their jobs. This is not a problem when the bar is quiet, but when it's busy they continue to ignore customers, play with their mobiles, play around with each other and are generally arrogant and ignorant. I just wish they had some pride in their work. However, if you can put up with all this or don't want to drink very much or even to BYO, it's a great place to hang out on a warm summer's eve.

How disappointing, there is notthing cool about this place, the glasses dirty and toilets even worse! I heard this was once a cool place to drink, not any more, full of city types trying to be uber stylish... let alone the ridiculous wait to be served and rude staff to boot... I think those who enjoy it are already on the way to the blind drunk stage !

Most of the people complaining about the staff get paid 7 times they do and work for some multi capitilist organisation. Anyone calling the staff trendy are ugly. Anyone who has managed or worked in a place like this would understand the stress the staff go through. The place is a really nice part of the area an essential part of London
